Benjamin

Benjamin, hailing from Moses Simon’s academy in Nigeria, brings a wealth of promise to Brentford. Despite making his mark in the Nigerian league, Benjamin garnered attention from European top clubs, including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and FC Porto.

But, it was Brentford who emerged victorious in the pursuit of this exceptional defender. Benjamin actually joined Brentford on loan last summer with an option to buy – a clause that has now been activated.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Benjamin has penned a four-year deal with Thomas Frank’s side, following in the footsteps of his compatriot, Frank Onyeka. While he continues to refine his skills within the team B setup to transition into a first-team player, he has frequently joined first-team training sessions.

Benjamin’s potential has been recognized by earning a place on the substitutes’ bench for Brentford’s Premier League clashes against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as the Emirates FA Cup third-round encounter against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
