Although the Chelsea board are not hinting at sacking Pochettino, there have been speculations that he would leave at the end of the current season. Peradventure that happens, there are up to eight notable coaches poised to replace the Argentine in Stamford Bridge. Should Poch leave Chelsea, these are fan-favorite managers expected to replace him by next season.

  1. Ruben Amorim: Despite his relative inexperience, top clubs reportedly consider Amorim a good coach. While recent reports suggested a meeting between Amorim and Chelsea, the club has refuted these claims.
  2. Roberto De Zerbi: Wasn’t at his best this season with Brighton, but De Zerbi remains a contender, with reports suggesting he’s the leading candidate to succeed Pochettino.
  3. Jose Mourinho: Will Jose return? He’s the favored option among certain supporters. Also, Mourinho seems eager for a third stint at Stamford Bridge.
  4. Thomas Tuchel: How about a return to the Bridge? While Tuchel clinched the Champions League with Chelsea, his potential return seems unlikely following his tenure at Bayern Munich.
  5. Julian Nagelsmann: Currently with the German national team, Nagelsmann reportedly eyes a Premier League return, with Chelsea previously considering him last summer.
  6. Thiago Motta: Enjoying success in Italy, Motta is seen as a promising coach, although he appears destined for Juventus.
  7. Simone Inzaghi: A league champion this season, Inzaghi garners interest, with Chelsea reportedly inquiring about his availability.
  8. Michel: Making waves in La Liga, Michel has attracted attention from Chelsea, with reports suggesting an offer was made to replace Pochettino as early as March.

But then, Pochettino may just continue as the Chelsea board is eager to give him “time” to build a formidable team with his numerous signings.
